LIFE SETTLEMENTS are becoming a
source of funds for individuals, colleges, universities, charities,
foundations,
and nonprofits. The information provided here is important
since many organizations rely on fundraising. If you are
a financial planner, accountant, or an attorney
seeking innovative ways to assist your clients you will find
valuable information too. The following pages will tell you about a new concept in the life insurance business called
LIFE SETTLEMENTS.
Just click on the appropriate page for you, whether you are a Policyholder, a Financial
Advisor, or a potential Donee (Charitable Institution).
We do not encourage people to lapse their life insurance policies. But, if anyone is considering terminating their policy because they no longer need the insurance, or the insurance premiums are becoming too costly for them, that person (or his representative) should check to see if he is eligible for a
LIFE SETTLEMENT. In brief, if an individual owns $100,000 or more of life insurance, and has a life expectancy of less than 15 years (usually someone over age 65, or in bad health), they may be able to sell their life insurance to a funding company (Wall Street investors) for a
LIFE SETTLEMENT which might exceed 10% of the face amount of insurance.
For example, someone may have purchased a 20-year Term Insurance policy at Age 50, for $1,000,000. After 19 years, at age 69, the insurance is about to terminate unless the policy owner will convert the policy to permanent insurance at age 70, for a much higher premium rate. Instead of terminating the policy for no cash value, the policy owner might be able to sell the policy for a
LIFE SETTLEMENT exceeding $100,000.
How can an owner of life insurance obtain a large and fair
LIFE SETTLEMENT? We will assist a policy owner (or his representative) in completing an Application Form and Authorizations, submit the Application to selected funding organizations, negotiate the highest offer from such organizations, and relay this offer to the policy owner or his representative for acceptance. There are no fees or charges for this service.
